Move over hot dogs, Taco Bell is moving in on America’s Favorite Past Time by once again offering their “Steal A Base, Steal A Taco” promotion.
If a player from either team in game 1 or 2 of the World Series steals a base, every person in the U.S. 50 states and D.C. will be entitled to one free Doritos Locos taco on November 1, 2017 from 2-6pm. Only the first stolen base will count, but you’re still eligible for a free taco even if it’s not your team that steals the base.
Many claimed that last year when October 4th, National Taco Day, fell on a Tuesday, we were getting the best of both worlds because we could double up on tacos. I don’t know about you, but I eat tacos until I’m full for either occasion, so I felt a little ripped off. Having the excuse to eat tacos twice in one week sounds like a much better deal to me, and two days in a row? Oh, Hell yeah!
Everybody loves free stuff. But you know what’s better than free stuff? Free tacos! And Taco Bell is giving away free tacos!
Apparently, there was some basketball game on this week, or something, and Taco Bell is letting everyone steal a taco because the Golden State Warriors stole a road win in game three of the NBA finals. Whatever. Let’s get back to what’s really important: Free tacos!
From 2-6pm PST today, all you have to do is walk into a participating Taco Bell and ask for a free Doritos Loco taco. It’s definitely easier than winning an NBA finals game on the road.
